Easy Poster Printer is a free software program for the Windows operating system that enables a user to create a poster out of an image or photo that is loaded into the software. Veteran users might already know the concept that is applied to those images from services such as Rasterbator or Block Posters which we reviewed earlier.
The process of creating a poster is divided into three steps. A photo or image is loaded in step one. This image is automatically shown in the large area on the right divided into A4 units. Each unit will be printed on one sheet of paper in the printing stage.

It is then possible to edit some of the settings of the printout in step 2. The initial display might for instance not be optimal.
Easy Poster Printer offers to:
- Stretch the image
- Change the posters dimensions and measuring unit
- Change the background color
- Rotate and flip images
- Apply paper scaling so that the image fits perfectly on the selected number of paper sheets
- Select the paper orientation (portrait or landscape)
- Select the print quality and cut lines
A Zoom preview can be enabled which can be used to determine the quality of the poster that is created. A click on the Print Poster button will send the print job to the printer from where it is then printed.
Easy Poster Printer supports several standard formats from A0 to B3 and provides the options to add new formats to the list for future uses.
The program supports posters with a maximum size of 20mx20m which should be enough for most purposes.
The software program is easy to use and yields results in less than a minute after loading the photo or image into the program.
The poster printer is freely available at the developer's website. It is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The program requires the Microsoft .net Framework.

One thing to note with these poster printers is that if your printer can't handle marginless printing then the image won't line up correctly. I notices it with the "Block Poster" site.
